In A Nutshell
This site is dedicated to discussing facts, research, issues, concerns, and topics to aid the prevention of child sexual abuse before it harms a child. This involves many arenas that are not well-known to the average person, and it is a goal to make these arenas well-known and reduce the challenges to the primary prevention of child sexual abuse. Another goal is helping minor-attracted people understand how to manage their attractions without hating themselves or viewing themselves as a risk.
The focus is primarily on advocacy and making unknown facts and research known, and correcting the misinformation spread by the media. The end goal is ensuring that systems and policies are in place that prevent children from knowing the pain of child sexual abuse before it happens, and to change public attitudes towards this issue so that these systems and polices can be enacted.
This site is dedicated to advocacy. Awareness in communities, discussing facts, and aiming to educate take priority over political activism or protesting. While there are some behind-the-scenes initiatives to make a difference in the political and educational arenas, as well as assist minor-attracted people in understanding their attractions without hating themselves, these initiatives are side projects, not a main focus.
This site is concerned with being accurate, not only in the language used on this blog and in tweets, comments, or other communications, but in the graphics produced to advocate against child sexual abuse.
